A dog barking is enough to really send both you and your neighbours to the brink of frustration. If this is your dog that is barking then it can become really stressful. I know what this feels like, I personally was on the brink of having my dogs being taken off me for that very reason. People these days are very quick to complain to the authorties rather than actually spending the time to come and see you personally.

A dog barking is enough to really send both you and your neighbours to the brink of frustration. If this is your dog that is barking then it can become really stressful. I know what this feels like, I personally was on the brink of having my dogs being taken off me for that very reason. People these days are very quick to complain to the authorties rather than actually spending the time to come and see you personally.

You can train your dog to stop barking. This can be effective, however, it can take awhile to actually stop them, especially if you are working during the time they are barking and you personally can not apply corrective behaviour. The good news is that you do not have to be there to train them. There are anti bark collars which do all the hard work for you.

Anti barking collars are not as inhuman as you would imagine. They are a great way to provide your dog with corrective behaviour, without sending him or her into the corner cowering in pain. The best thing about an anti bark collar is that you do not have to be there to provide your dog with corrective behaviour. This is especially beneficial if your dog is only barking when your away from home. Its a great way to stop annoying your neighbors.

The other type of anti bark collar is a citronella collar. This is very similar to a static anti bark collar, except the only difference is that in stead of shocking the dog, it sprays citronella near the dogs face. Dogs hate the smell of citronella, and they will soon learn that when they bark they get this smell in their face. This is a good alternative if you just can not see yourself using the vibration anti bark collar.

Anti bark collars are really the best way to train your dog to stop barking. An anti bark collar is fast and very effective. The barking collars are not inhuman as the static collar does not have any electricity in it and will not cause your dog to start cowering in the corner in pain. Do not let your dog be taken away from his family all because he is barking.
