Being consistent in all you do is one of the key rules to train a dog efficiently with good results and an understanding of dog training and the way dogs react will make it easier on you and your dog. Dog training is used to teach your dog to act and behave in a way that makes your cohabitation a pleasant experience.

How unwavering you act as a "pack leader" will determine your success in your dog's training efforts. Training your dog is not at all such a demanding effort if you repeat the same clear and uncomplicated commands and focus the attention on the desired actions you want your dog to perform. In the event where the dog act in the right and well-behaved manner, a reward is always a good idea to encourage future good behavior.

Your behavior will influence the way your dog reacts in a large way. As with the most things in life, in order to receive a positive response, you need to act with a positive and constructive attitude towards your dog, in order for him to act favorable towards his training.

Your tone of voice must indicate to the dog your approval or disapproval of his actions. He will make a resemblance between a stern tone and incorrect or bad behavior and when your tone of voice is friendly and exciting, he will draw the conclusion that his actions were good or correct.

A short training session filled with fun and some kind of challenge with short and precise actions are most likely to keep the dog's interest, which will in return execute your commands in an approving way.

It is always good to maintain the dog's commitment and positive submissions with some kind of a reward, may it be some treat to eat or an entertaining play session.

For as long as the training is constructive and your dog is conscious of your approval and acceptance of his conduct, you will end up with a happy K9 that are willing to keep up the good work and react favorable towards you in all conditions.
